The NOLS mission is to be the leading source and teacher of wilderness skills and leadership that serve people and the environment. We use experiential learning, a process that engages you in a direct experience and focused reflection to maximize learning.

Our programs are recognized for teaching outdoor education, leadership, wilderness medicine, risk management, and conservation. At NOLS, you have the option to receive academic credit and scholarships are also available.
